Lyrics
I woke up, I didn’t know what to do today
So I laid in bed & wasted away
Last night you sat me down & said you’re here to stay
I woke up, I didn’t know what to do today
‘Cause I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Oh, I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Nothin’ on my mind and not a thing to do
I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Now, love songs ain’t my typical kind of thing
No, existential dread, that’s more my speed
But if it keeps you coming ‘round, well then it’s love I’m gonna sing
Although love songs ain’t my typical kind of thing
But I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Oh, I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Nothin’ on my mind and not a thing to do
I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Now, a pine box might be all that’s waiting for me
One of these days I’m shipping off to sea
But a short time here with you is worth facing eternity
Although a pine box might be all that’s waiting for me
I woke up, I didn’t know what to do today
No, I don’t want to waste away
Last night you sat me down & said you’re here to stay
Then I woke up, I think I know what I’m gonna do today
‘Cause I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Oh, I got nothin’ on my mind but you
Nothin’ on my mind and not a thing to do
I got nothin’ on my mind but you
